Trainee Credit Control/ Sales Ledger Administrator - Northampton
Warner Recruitment are really excited to be working with a local, friendly and financially stable business in Daventry in Northamptonshire. This is a brand-new role to support the Credit Control/ Sales Ledger department within the accounts team of 6. The company are looking for a Trainee Credit Control/ Sales Ledger Administration, ideally someone who has just finished their A Level's/ Collage course.
The successful candidate will ideally have an understanding of basic accounts /administration/ customer services; including sales ledger or data entry; and studying towards AAT or equivalent (although not essential). No previous office work experience is required, they just need someone with a can-do attitude to work and excellent verbal and good written communication skills.
Trainee Credit Control Administrator -
Sales ledger invoices
Matching proof of deliveries (POD's) with invoices
Scanning invoices onto the system
Creating reports in Excel
Resolving customer queries
Calling customers
Taking inbound calls to the Credit Control department
Producing credits for returns to customer accounts
Filing regularly
Checking invoices for discrepancies
Generate invoices
Issue monthly/weekly customer statements
Researching and gathering necessary information for completion of invoices
Supporting Credit Controllers as and when needed
Working to weekly and monthly KPI targets under tight deadlines
Person:
The successful candidate will ideally have an understanding of basic accounts administration/ data entry/ customer services
Studying towards AAT or equivalent, although not essential
Live locally to Duston, Northamptonshire
Recent A level (or equivalent) leaver
Work experience from shop work/ warehouse work/ bar work or equivalent
Can do attitude to work
A Level leaver or equivalent
Good communicator
Able to work on your own initiative
Assertive, as you will need to speak with many senior people across the business to gather information which will be essential for this role
Salary £18,000 - £23,000 depending on experience
