What is our DNA made up of ?

Our story

Julie graduated in Dance & Business at the University Of Chichester in 2005. While dance has always been a passion, she always envisioned a career in business. Her vibrant energy and love for social interaction led her to recruitment; securing a trainee role at Reed Finance & Accountancy in 2006.


Haydon and Julie first met in 2007, married in 2014 and until 2020 their careers have been very separate.  Haydon working as the UK Managing Director for a Dutch scientific company.  Whilst they had separate careers they always talked at length about each others jobs and how it would be to run their own company one day.


Establishing Warner Recruitment in June 2020 presented a significant challenge, coming at the peak of the global pandemic and amidst the initial UK lockdown, with the business operating out of a bedroom.


Haydon's  chemistry background brought a completely new prospective to recruitment and challenged the traditional recruitment 'norms'.  The 'DNA' for the company has been to invest in the very best technology and to put people at the heart of the company whether that is as an employee, candidate or client. 


Our 'corner stone' difference is that bonuses are not paid to consultants, this distinguishing Warner from all other recruitment agencies.  By offering competitive salaries to the team, it nurtures a culture of hard work, high performance and true collaboration.  Creating an environment for job satisfaction matches the company mantra; Love Your Job!


When not dedicating their time to managing Warner Recruitment, Julie and Haydon also passionately partner together in Ballroom & Latin dance competitions. Their shared love for dance not only strengthens their bond as business partners but also allows them to express their creativity and talent beyond the professional realm. With a deep-rooted passion for both recruitment and dance, Julie and Haydon embody a perfect balance of work and leisure, showcasing their dedication and commitment in all aspects of their lives.

We are deeply passionate about supporting businesses and accountants in Northamptonshire, as we believe in and really enjoy the fostering of strong partnerships and relationships.


In May 2023, we settled into our stunning barn conversion nestled in beautiful countryside near Preston Deanery village, just a stone's throw from Brackmills, Northampton.


Our local knowledge is key for matching accountants with jobs which they will truly love & enjoy.  Often we are following and supporting accountants throughout their career.
