This role is initially on a 6 month contract with the potential to become a permanent role looking after a new division of the business which has recently been acquired.
The successful Financial Accountant will ideally be Qualified in ACCA, ACA (not essentail) or equivalent and have experience of statutory accounting and audits.
Financial Accountant – Full Time Permanent Position in Northampton
Duties include:
- Produce statutory accounts
- Responsibility for the year end audit process
- Responsibility for VAT returns, HMRC returns and payments
- Assist in continuous improvements in internal controls and financial reporting
- Producing and presenting information from the companies mergers and acquisitions
- Review monthly balance sheet
- Preparation & initial review of monthly reporting
- Ownership of month end timetable
- Working to tight reporting deadlines
- Extraction of P&L data for review
- Project work as required
- Adaptive to the requirements of the business
- Working closely with management accounts and commercial finance teams
