Brilliant opportunity for an ambitious, driven ACCA/ CIMA studier/ AAT qualified/ experienced Assistant Accountant (you do not have to be a studier – please apply if you are a studier or not!).
This role is working for one of our favourite clients where the team are super friendly.  We know they all come to work to do a good job and also look forward to their office day as they all get on really well with each other and support one another.  They are really excited to welcome a new member into the team to support with their workload.
This is a Hybrid role (typically 3 days in the office, once initial training has been given) the office is easy to get to by car or on public transport. 
This job will suit an ACCA/ CIMA / QBE (Qualified by Experience) / AAT Qualified/ AAT Studier (or equivalent).  Studying is supported but not essential for this role.  Warner Recruitment are very excited to be working with this local established and growing business based in Northampton; to recruit for a Management Accountant.
You will report to the Finance Manager in the Northampton office who reports to the Head of Finance in their parent head office in Manchester.

Management Accountant – Northampton – Hybrid
Duties include:

  • Accruals and Prepayments.

  • Balance Sheet reconciliations.

  • Assist with year-end audit

  • Assisting with monthly Management Accounts

  • Monthly analysis

  • Assisting with audits

  • Assisting with month and year end processes

  • P&L Reporting

  • Assisting with setting and analysing budgets

  • Communicating across the business

  • Ad Hoc duties

  • Support in preparing monthly board packs

  • Annual budget process


Person:

  • Part qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent (not essential)

  • Qualified by experience

  • Strong Excel skills – as you will be using this regularly for reporting and analysis

  • Strong communicator
